I'm surprised your article ingores the truth and suggests Ray Hernandez killed the bear. The bear was killed by a local rancher with political connections and who claims he shot the bear in self defense. Hernandez is guilty of taking the bear's head and feet to salvage the teeth and claws for his costume in which he teaches kids about indian lore. TPW was unable to sucessfully ticket the rich rancher fined Hernandez and has now asked for over $16,000 in restitution for an animal he didn't kill and one that is not a native animal.TPW commonly rushes in and swings it's big hammer to grab it's own "trophy collection" in my opinion . SEARCH the articles with details in the SA Express and/or The Houston Chronicle for the facts.
